An investigation has been launched into how a fake bomb was put on a cargo plane and flown from the UK to Turkey without being detected.
The UPS flight travelled to Istanbul with the package, reportedly containing a timer, wires and a detonator.
The UK Department for Transport said it was taking the matter "very seriously".
A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of making a bomb hoax was detained on 23 March but later bailed to return to a north London police station in May.

Forty-seven more bison were captured at the Montana border on Thursday. Yellowstone workers and state livestock agents were trying to halt the animals' exodus from the snow-packed park to lower elevations.
Bison periodically attempt to migrate out of the park in search of food, but many end up in government-operated corrals under a controversial program meant to guard against the spread of the disease brucellosis to livestock.
Disease testing on the animals began Wednesday. Those that test positive for exposure to brucellosis are slated to be shipped to slaughter.
Through Thursday, 161 of the 368 captured bison had been tested. Fifty-three came back positive and 108 negative, park spokesman Al Nash said.
There is no guarantee the negative animals will be released. Holding them until spring in the corrals along the park border could prove impossible if bison keep pouring out of the park.
More of the animals were moving toward the park border Thursday, and the corrals only hold about 400 animals.
"Bison can move a long distance in a short period and we've often seen movement in the night hours," Nash said. "Our plan at the moment is to continue testing and sorting these animals. We'll see what next week brings."
Livestock officials said plans to ship brucellosis-positive bison to packing plants beginning this week had been delayed until at least Monday, after agencies ran into difficulties lining up trucks for transport.
Who- This is about Bison’s.
What- Bison are being killed for having a disease called brucellosis. Fifty-three came back positive and 108 came back negative. They have captured 161 out of 368 bison and have them tested.
Where- This takes place at Yellowstone National Park, but captured at the Montana border.
When- February 1st
Why- They are killing the Bison because most of the Bison have a disease called brucellosis.
How- The bison are getting shipped to go slaughtered be for having the disease.

Home Sweet Home

In ten year I would want to live in Livonia still. I am going to live in an apartment with my friend or my cousin. The type of house I would want to live in is an apartment.  If I share an apartment with my friend or cousin then the cost to live there per month is $695 to $735 per month but splitting it with them is $347 to $367.  Cost of utilities per month is$25 or more.
If my uncle gave me $1000 to spend on my house I would spend it on one reclining sofa ($653), two end tables($298), and one lamp ($49) and it would be all for my living room.

Resolution Blog

New Year’s Resolutions:
3 School Resolutions are:
My first school resolution is to study harder for History and Science tests because I usually don’t do well on history and science tests. My second school resolution is to ask for help if I need it because I don’t always ask for help then I fail the assignment. My third school resolution is to try to listen harder and to take better notes when we take notes in classes and write down what the teacher tells me to write down.
3 Personal Resolutions:
My first resolution is to go to bed at 9:30 instead of 11 so I don’t sleep in on school days and so I can get more sleep. My second resolution is to not watch TV or be on the computer for more than an hour because I watch TV and go on the computer a lot. My third resolution is to do a sport during the summer so I’m not just sitting home and watching TV or being lazy.
3 Social Resolutions:
My first resolution is to be nicer to my sisters because we r always getting into arguments and we fight a lot. My second resolution is to do what my parents ask me to do and not argue with them when they ask me do to something. My third resolution is to say hi to my sister in school because I see her a lot in school and I don’t stop and say hi.
1 Wild Card Resolution:
My resolution is to start recycling because usually I just throw stuff away and not bother to look and see if it is recyclable because I’ve read articles about our environment and how it’s in bad shape.

Thanksgiving Break

On the first day for Thanksgiving break I am planning on sleeping in. Then me my mom and my sisters Megan and Brooke are going shopping to Kohl’s and Old Navy to shop for clothes of what we want for Christmas. Then after we go shopping I might be hanging out with my friend Hannah after she gets out of school.
On Thursday my family and I are going to make part of the dinner for the dinner. We make the mashed potatoes. Then around 5:30ish we go over to my aunt and uncles house. My mom, dad, my Aunt Chris, and my Uncle Dale finish up making the turkey, stuffing, broccoli and cheese, gravy, rolls and other things me and my sisters play with the dogs Jake and Teddy and its fun to play with both because Jake is much more active than Teddy because Jake is younger than Teddy. Teddy is fun to play with because he loves to give out licks and he loves to jump on your and tackle you when you walk in.  Usually Brooke and I pin Megan down so that Teddy licks Megan’s face. Then at like 6:30ish we eat. I eat mashed potatoes and some turkey and a roll. We have dinner together for about an hour. Then we clean up the dishes. After an hour or so we get pumpkin pie. Then about 9 we go home.
On Friday I have to wake up at 5:20 to get up and babysit. I have to be over there by 6 so the parents can go Black Friday shopping. It was between Megan and I to go babysit and I chose to because they are fun to babysit (and they like me the best kind of).  Then after I am planning to have a sleep over with my cousin Jenna. She is my favorite cousin and she is the closest in age to me then my other cousins and we love to hang out together and talk to each other all the time If we end up having a sleep over we usually go to bed later than what we are suppose to because we always talk. Then the rest of my week end I don’t know what I am going to do yet because most of my friends that I usually hang out with are going away. That is my 5 day vacation.
